Current Failings in Health Care:

Our hospitals have terribly long wait times when compared to hospitals across the United States and Europe. Our nurses, doctors and paramedics are over-worked, and suffer under the pressure this pandemic has forced upon them.

Progressive Solutions:

Health care should be under the responsibility of provincial governments. Giving provinces their constitutionally guranteed ability to dictate and decide what they do with their funding will allow them to reduce wait times and staff according to their needs. The PPC will abolish the GST, giving provinces the ability to expand PST, which will then be a harmonized tax they fully control.
